About Karl
Hey and welcome! I’m Karl Dalyell, I’m a self taught ocean/seascape photographer from the Illawarra region of New South Wales.
I first picked up a camera in 2017 and have been hooked ever since. My aim is to capture and share with you moments of time in the water that you would not normally see, I am passionate about sunrise, sunset, abstract water movements as well as macro flower/wildlife photography and portraits.
At the end of 2021, I will be starting a journey around this great land of Australia to capture the amazing landscapes, seascapes and wildlife. These images will be available to order here so you can enjoy a little piece of this vast land in your home too.

Seascape/Ocean Category - Winner
The Alpha Awards provides a platform for photography captured on Sony Alpha cameras and lenses across Australia and New Zealand. In 2020, the competition received more than 3,000 entries.
